Whether a small broken condominium project or a 12-acre mixed-use opportunity, we focus on creating a community in which our people are proud to be tenants. Learn more about our vision by exploring a few of our important projects.
Preserving History in Denver
Since the 1989 acquisition of the Poet’s Row apartment buildings, through the restoration of thousands of apartment units bringing them back to their historic splendor, Triton has invested with a focus on historic preservation of Denver and its surrounding neighborhoods. Triton’s success in Colorado spawned the growth that provided additional opportunities for its expansion into neighboring States, Detroit, and Canada.
Reviving Detroit’s Riverside
Being an early advocate for the revitalization of Detroit, Triton began investing in the Detroit market in 2009, creating a portfolio of more than 1,000 residential units in the City and along the Riverfront. The company’s focus in Detroit included both historic properties, broken condos, and new development. Some of historic rehabilitation successes include the Alden Towers, a four-tower riverfront property, Keen Residences, Hibbard Residence, and The Town Residences in Downtown Detroit. With our local partner we developed and built Water’s Edge Residences, a 134-unit residential project, and “The Lookout” an adjoining community center for the development, which represented the first new development on the Riverfront in decades.
Keeping Families Together in Arizona
Triton’s focus in Arizona was within the area we referred to as “The Golden Triangle”, which includes the Historic District in Downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe. During our investment period, we focused on stalled or capital starved condo developments, both new product and failed conversions. Once the property was acquired, Triton rapidly repositioned the property as for sale condos, or converted the units into much needed residential rental property.
